Growing up, I remember tha my mother always had a camera with her. In fact, one of the most prized posessions in our home was (is actually) the family photo album. So, when my mother asked that my anniversary gift to them be a formal portrait session in their home, I was honored. This shoot took an hour and a half the day of their big anniversary party. By the time the guests had arrived, I had already gotten back from the lab with small 3.5x5 photo magnets with their names and date printed on them to give out as souvenirs. What convenience! Adding this image to the portfolio is my tribute to my favorite photographer...my mother.
